This was sent from Laura Head on behalf of USA Softball. If you are able to attend, your presence to celebrate the life of Danny would be greatly appreciated.
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you about the upcoming celebration of life for Danny Winders, which will be held Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 am. We kindly request your presence at this event to honor and remember Danny’s dynamic life. Service will be located at: Restoration Life Church, 4234 West 147th Street, Lawndale, CA 90260.
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception where attendees can gather and share their memories of Danny. Your presence and support during this time would mean a great deal to Kathy, his daughters and the entire family.
For those who are part of the umpire community, Kathy, Kelsie and Molly have expressed that it would be incredibly meaningful if you could wear your uniform shirt or staff shirt to the celebration. This gesture would serve as a tribute to Danny’s passion for umpiring and his contributions to the community.
We understand that attending such an event may require adjustments to your schedule, but please know that your presence will be greatly appreciated by the family. Your support during this difficult time will provide comfort and strength to Kathy and her loved ones.
In honor of Danny’s memory and to support the family during this challenging time, there was a meal train and donation link set up for the family. Please don’t feel obligated, but if you feel moved to make a donation, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. The funds collected will go towards assisting the family with any expenses they may incur and providing support during their grieving process.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support the family of Danny during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will be a source of comfort and strength for them.
If you have any questions or need further information regarding the celebration of life, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. I will be more than happy to assist you.
With heartfelt condolences,
USA Softball of Southern California
